Senior Project Manager/Estimator (Foundations)

Location: New Berlin, Wisconsin, United States; office-based work with required travel to jobsites and client meetings.

Specialty contractor delivering foundation, earthwork, utilities, marine, industrial cleaning, pipeline, and waste disposal projects across multiple sectors.

What you will do

• Finalize client and public-entity estimates, proposals, bids, and submittals for large, complex foundation projects.
• Identify bid opportunities through client relationships, networks, public and private postings, and assigned opportunities.
• Manage multiple awarded projects from pre-construction through completion, including scheduling, staffing, construction methods, and progress monitoring.
• Track labor and material costs, manage billing and change orders, and maintain project profitability.
• Coordinate with owners, general contractors, operations, field teams, office support, vendors, and regulatory agencies.
• Supervise Estimator I, Estimator II, and Project Manager/Estimators while ensuring safety, compliance, and timely delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 15+ years of experience estimating and managing large, complex projects in a related scope of work.
• Strong written, oral, presentation, interpersonal, and client relationship skills.
• Ability to interpret plans, specifications, policies, reports, legal documents, and construction-related mathematical concepts.
• Knowledge of bidding and project management software, Microsoft Office, and standard construction-industry conversions.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a satisfactory motor vehicle record.
• Ability to work in an office environment, attend off-site meetings, and travel occasionally with overnight stays at jobsites.
