What you will do

  • Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, adjust, and test production machinery, assembly equipment, fixtures, and medical devices.
  • Operate and maintain the preventive maintenance program, including inspections, maintenance logs, asset records, and parts inventory.
  • Provide technical support to supervisors, leads, assemblers, Engineering, and Quality Assurance teams.
  • Assist with equipment installation, commissioning, validation and verification protocols, engineering studies, and product improvements.
  • Handle compressed gas tanks and support related assembly startup processes safely.
  • Coordinate external machine builders and suppliers to develop required equipment and fixtures.

Requirements

  • 2–3 years of relevant experience.
  • Technical aptitude and experience troubleshooting and repairing medical devices preferred.
  • Working knowledge of basic electromechanical systems.
  • Basic data entry skills for electronic forms and strong documentation practices.
  • Ability to work onsite in Gurnee, Illinois, and comply with applicable safety regulations and policies.
  • Knowledge of GMP, GDP, SOPs, service manuals, and regulated manufacturing practices.
