Location: Krubong, Melaka, Malaysia; onsite

What you will do

  • Model manufacturing operations in a Manufacturing Execution System (MES).
  • Support automation and integration of tools with external contractors.
  • Integrate MES with business and IT systems across the manufacturing environment.
  • Improve manufacturing processes in multidisciplinary teams and collaborate with divisional CIM engineers and key users.
  • Plan manufacturing routes and material requirements using computer systems.
  • Integrate CNC machines, PLCs, and industrial robots with central databases; monitor production feedback and oversee preventive maintenance software.

Requirements

  • Degree in engineering.
  • Good written and spoken English communication skills.
  • Knowledge of discrete production, production automation, or MES.
  • Familiarity with MES and SQL databases.
  • Knowledge of CAD/CAM integration, shop-floor control, enterprise and business systems, databases, and communication networks.
  • At least five years of semiconductor industry experience is preferred.
