Sr Director, Product Planning (Off-Road Vehicles): Leading product strategy, portfolio planning, and lifecycle management for Polaris off-road vehicle platforms with an accent on long-range planning, investment decisions, and customer insight integration. Focus on evaluating complex product portfolios, guiding cross-functional business cases, and developing Product Directors and Product Managers while driving enterprise-level growth and competitive differentiation.
Location: Wyoming, Minnesota, USA; hybrid work arrangement
Starting pay range: $210,000–$265,000 per year

What you will do
- Lead the Long-Range Product Plan for the RZR, Xpedition, General, and Sportsman product portfolios.
- Oversee product proposals, program plans, business cases, and platform investment approvals.
- Direct portfolio strategy, lifecycle management, innovation initiatives, and resource allocation.
- Analyze market trends, competitive activity, consumer insights, demographic shifts, and regulatory developments.
- Partner with Engineering, Design, Operations, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Sourcing, PG&A, and executive leadership to deliver profitable product outcomes.
- Lead, coach, and develop Product Directors and Product Managers while representing at industry and customer events.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; an MBA or other graduate degree is preferred.
- At least 12 years of relevant experience in sales, marketing, product planning, product management, and/or product development.
- At least 5 years of formal people leadership experience with professional- or leadership-level employees.
- Experience leading complex product portfolios and influencing enterprise-level decisions.
- Strong strategic, analytical, financial, communication, presentation, and market research capabilities.
- Ability to travel regularly between locations and up to 20–35% domestically and internationally; visa sponsorship is not available.
