Senior Hardware Quality Engineer (PCB)

Location: Farmingdale, New York, United States; onsite

Salary: $98,003–$163,339 per year, with a potential annual or quarterly bonus. Alternative shifts may include a shift premium.

What you will do

• Perform final inspections, product selloffs, audits, and environmental and operational test witnessing.
• Review engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, drawing, calibration, and test documentation for quality compliance.
• Develop and implement quality procedures, inspection instructions, inspection alerts, statistical process controls, and monitoring programs.
• Lead material review and corrective action boards, track internal and supplier CARs, and drive quality process improvements.
• Serve as the quality liaison and single point of contact for program teams, supporting proposals, budgets, status reporting, and customer reviews.
• Mentor new hires and coordinate quality requirements across engineering, production, suppliers, and customers; occasional overnight travel is required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 15+ years of related experience and/or training.
• Detailed knowledge of MIL-Q-9858A, MIL-STD-1520, ISO-9001, and AS9102.
• Experience with root cause corrective action methods, including 5 Whys and Fishbone analysis.
• Familiarity with electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, meters, counters, frequency meters, and logic analyzers.
• Must have a background that would permit the US Department of Defense to issue a Secret clearance when necessary; access to ITAR products and related technical data is restricted to US citizens and US permanent residents.
