Quality Control - Technical Inspector (AH-64)

What you will do

• Conduct maintenance test flights and functional check flight operations for AH-64 aircraft supporting the US Army Flight Test Directorate.
• Perform scheduled, unscheduled, visual, and physical inspections of aircraft, components, parts, products, and raw materials.
• Apply quality control and safety plans in accordance with Army directives, contract specifications, approved technical data, and hirify.global QMS procedures.
• Perform fault isolation, troubleshooting, and provide technical assistance to resolve maintenance problems.
• Document inspection results, maintain quality control files, communicate deficiencies, and follow up on corrective actions.
• Manage contractor pilot and non-rated crewmember flight records and accurately enter inspection data into databases.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of Army Aviation maintenance experience.
• At least three years of Army Aviation maintenance quality control experience and two years related to developmental flight testing.
• Completion of military aircraft repairer school for the AH-64A, AH-64D, or AH-64E.
• FAA A&P License required.
• Graduation from BNOCC (ALC) or an equivalent Technical Inspector Course from another Armed Forces service.
• Working knowledge of ACN and associated historical forms, including 2408-15, 2408-16, 16-1, 2408-17, and DA 2410; ability to use Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in management, production management, aviation maintenance, professional aeronautics with technical specializations, or aviation quality.
• Thorough knowledge of Army rotary-wing and commercial aviation maintenance practices and regulations.
• Experience applying aircraft maintenance techniques and quality control functions using automated TAMMS-A.
