Industrial Maintenance Technician

What you will do

• Support the Master Electrician with installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of electrical systems, lighting, motors, control panels, switchgear, and three-phase systems up to 480 VAC.
• Perform and document preventive and corrective maintenance, inspections, and testing in the site CMMS.
• Execute Lockout/Tagout and arc flash procedures and maintain required safety certifications.
• Troubleshoot pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, plumbing, water, gas, and other facility infrastructure systems.
• Coordinate with contractors and support laboratory instrument calibration, safety system testing, building and grounds maintenance, and site events.
• Respond to urgent and on-call maintenance needs and participate in safety, training, and corrective-action activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, or 4+ years of hands-on electrical installation and infrastructure experience, or at least 3 years as an Electrician Apprentice.
• Working knowledge of Variable Frequency Drives, Motor Control Centers, and Programmable Logic Controller systems.
• Experience with industrial plumbing systems, components, and fittings.
• Experience operating aerial lifts, forklifts, and other industrial equipment.
• Ability to read and troubleshoot electrical schematics, blueprints, technical manuals, and related documentation.
• Unrestricted right to work for hirify.global in the United States is required.

Nice to have

• Journeyman Electrician license or progress toward obtaining one.
• Experience with explosion-proof electrical equipment or laboratory and chemical facility environments.
• Experience with rigging, machining, fabrication, welding, first response, or CMMS platforms.

Culture & Benefits

• Full-time Monday through Friday schedule, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Work in industrial, laboratory, and maintenance environments with exposure to electrical systems, mechanical equipment, outdoor conditions, and facility infrastructure.
• Use hand tools, power tools, lifts, and other maintenance equipment; physical activities include lifting, climbing, bending, and standing.
