Warehouse Operations Management Trainee (South Carolina)

Location: On-site training in Columbia or Greer, South Carolina; classroom training in Plano, Texas. Relocation out of state is required after completing training, with company assistance.

Salary: $28.85/hour on a full-time schedule, with possible relocation or cost-of-living adjustments.

What you will do

• Complete a six-month, hands-on management training program in a distribution warehouse.
• Work across operations, management, purchasing, and other distribution-center functions.
• Shadow experienced employees, contractors, builders, service providers, and retail customers.
• Attend classroom training covering operations, financials, leadership, human capital management, and operating systems.
• Present a comprehensive program-completion presentation to senior management.
• Travel approximately 25% and support additional operations projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or associate degree in industrial distribution, supply chain management, management, operations, or a related discipline, with a minimum 2.5 GPA.
• Leadership or problem-solving experience, including relevant internships, organizations, volunteer work, athletics, or military leadership.
• Ability and willingness to work in a distribution warehouse and lead a team in a changing environment.
• Ability to operate or maneuver heavy machinery such as pallet jacks and forklifts, and lift products up to 75 pounds.
• Willingness and ability to relocate during and after the program for career development opportunities.

Nice to have

• Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills.
• Microsoft Office knowledge and ability to learn inventory and other software systems.
