Manager, HR (Hammond, LA)

Location: Hammond, Louisiana, United States; onsite Monday–Friday with flexibility for a multiple-shift operation. The role may require up to 25% travel for business purposes within and outside the state.

Salary: $101,000–$152,000 annual, plus bonus and/or incentive eligibility.

What you will do

• Lead the implementation of HR services, policies, and programs at the assigned location.
• Advise and coach managers and employees on HR policies, employee relations, and workplace issues.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, retention, career-pathing, exit interviews, and outplacement activities.
• Assess employee climate and implement actions that support positive employee relations.
• Identify training needs, develop training plans, and deliver employee and management development programs.
• Administer job evaluations, compensation programs, pay consistency, workers’ compensation claims, and return-to-work processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least four years of experience in Human Resources positions.
• Thorough knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and applicable federal and state laws.
• Experience coordinating concurrent projects, competing priorities, and critical deadlines.
• Experience developing and delivering presentations to different audience levels.
• Ability to work onsite Monday–Friday in Hammond, Louisiana, with flexibility for a multiple-shift operation.

Nice to have

• PHR or SPHR certification.
• Experience hiring, developing, motivating, and directing employees.
