Application Development Specialist - CASE (Chemicals)

Location: Columbus, Ohio; Bedford Park, Illinois; or Berkeley, Missouri. Candidates may also be based in Chicago, Illinois, or St. Louis, Missouri. Territory: Upper Midwest. Travel: 50–60%.

Salary: USD 98,870–123,580 per year, plus eligibility for incentive pay.

What you will do

• Provide technical application and formulation support to coatings, adhesives, sealants, and elastomers customers.
• Develop technical proposals and product or service application solutions that support business development and sales growth.
• Deliver product, industry, and application training to sales teams, suppliers, customers, and other internal or external groups.
• Partner with sales organizations and suppliers on customer calls, meetings, opportunity reviews, negotiations, and product launches.
• Monitor market trends and customer needs to identify new product and service opportunities.
• Manage communication with supplier technical resources and provide technical and market feedback.

Requirements

• Four-year college degree; a background in science or chemistry is preferred.
• Successful experience with a technical product concentration in the CASE industry.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Experience working with customers at multiple levels, internal and external stakeholders, and supplier partners.
• Ability to travel 50–60% and maintain a clean driver's license.
