TL;DR
Senior Storage Infrastructure Engineer (Enterprise Storage and Data Protection): Administering and modernizing enterprise storage platforms, global file services, backup and recovery, replication, and disaster recovery capabilities with an accent on platform reliability, resiliency, and recoverability. Focus on optimizing Commvault and storage environments, leading migrations and technology refreshes, and solving complex production infrastructure incidents across VMware, Windows Server, Linux, and hybrid cloud platforms.
Location: Hybrid role based near Portland, Oregon, United States; onsite four days per week

What you will do
- Administer enterprise storage platforms including Pure Storage, Qumulo, Dell PowerStore, and related technologies.
- Manage storage provisioning, performance optimization, capacity planning, replication, and lifecycle activities.
- Lead backup, recovery, retention, disaster recovery, and data resiliency capabilities across global infrastructure environments.
- Administer and optimize Commvault data protection solutions while meeting recoverability and compliance objectives.
- Partner with infrastructure teams supporting VMware, Windows Server, Linux, and hybrid cloud platforms.
- Lead storage migrations, platform upgrades, modernization projects, incident response, root cause analysis, and operational improvement.
Requirements
- 5+ years of enterprise experience supporting storage infrastructure, backup platforms, and disaster recovery solutions.
- Hands-on administration experience with Commvault and enterprise backup and recovery technologies.
- Experience with enterprise storage platforms such as Pure Storage, Qumulo, Dell PowerStore, NetApp, or Dell EMC.
- Experience supporting VMware, Windows Server, Linux, and enterprise datacenter environments.
- Experience with storage replication, business continuity, disaster recovery testing, backup architecture, and global file services.
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, communication, problem-solving, PowerShell, automation, and monitoring skills.
