Staff Professional (Scientist, Geologist, Engineer) (Soil & Groundwater Sampling) (Environmental Remediation): Performing soil, groundwater, and environmental media sampling while supporting remediation and compliance projects with an accent on field investigations, regulatory requirements, and accurate environmental data. Focus on installing and developing monitoring wells, overseeing excavation and remediation activities, and preparing technical reports and project documentation.
Location: Loveland, Colorado, USA; combination of field and office work with potential field remediation work five days per week
Salary: $60,000–$75,000 annual salary, commensurate with experience, skills, and geographic location.

What you will do
- Perform soil, groundwater, and environmental media sampling in line with project plans and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct field investigations using hand augers and other equipment, and support groundwater monitoring well installation and development.
- Assist with impacted soil excavation, groundwater remediation, and the delivery of environmental remediation projects from investigation through closure.
- Prepare technical reports, permits, proposals, project records, and other client deliverables.
- Collect, manage, and quality-assure field and laboratory data.
- Coordinate with project managers, clients, subcontractors, laboratories, and regulatory agencies while tracking schedules, budgets, scopes, and deliverables.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Environmental Engineering, or a related scientific discipline.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to pass criminal background, motor vehicle records, and pre-employment drug screenings.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, communication, technical writing, and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple responsibilities, collaborate across teams, and perform outdoor field work in varying conditions.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
Nice to have
- Experience with soil and groundwater sampling, environmental site investigations, or remediation projects.
- Familiarity with Colorado ECMC regulations and environmental compliance requirements.
- OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification.
- Experience with ArcGIS, GPS field technologies, and environmental data collection platforms.
- Experience in environmental consulting, oil and gas operations, or regulatory compliance programs.
