Location: Remote, USA; domestic travel required approximately 80%

What you will do
- Plan and perform welding experiments, hands-on demonstrations, and technical analyses of welding performance.
- Partner with customers to understand welding processes, production challenges, materials, joint configurations, and application requirements.
- Recommend welding procedures, equipment, filler metals, automation solutions, and new technologies.
- Support sales activities through customer meetings, product evaluations, technical presentations, and solution development.
- Deliver technical training on equipment operation, welding best practices, safety, and process improvements.
- Gather customer and market feedback to support product development, continuous improvement, and new product launches.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in welding and the welding industry.
- Strong manual welding skills in GMAW/MIG/MAG, including open-root welding.
- Medium to high competency in GTAW/TIG and MMAW/SMAW.
- Experience in shipbuilding, general manufacturing, automotive, or pipeline welding.
- Ability to travel domestically approximately 80% of the time and work at manufacturing and plant locations with required PPE.
- Ability to handle physical demands, including standing, walking, stairs, and moving equipment and products weighing up to the specified limits.
Nice to have
- Experience with automated or robotic welding.
- Competency in SAW.
