Location: Fort Belvoir, Virginia, United States. Onsite role with approximately 30% temporary duty travel, rotating shifts, and unscheduled overtime.

Support Services supports Army aviation research, development, test, and evaluation missions.
What you will do
- Serve as an H-60M maintenance test and project pilot.
- Serve as a fixed-wing, multi-engine project pilot.
- Conduct developmental, operational, maintenance, and project evaluation flight missions.
- Plan missions, including weather analysis, flight routing, and airspace coordination.
- Coordinate aviation test planning and execution with engineers and test personnel.
- Prepare flight reports, evaluations, and technical documentation while supporting assigned operations or safety duties.
Requirements
- FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate or higher with multi-engine, instrument, and helicopter ratings.
- H-60M Maintenance Test Pilot qualification and U.S. Department of War fixed-wing multi-engine qualification.
- 1,500 hours total flight time, including the specified rotary-wing and fixed-wing PIC, night, instrument, and recent-flight experience.
- Experience operating heavy multi-engine helicopters and airplanes exceeding 12,500 pounds gross takeoff weight.
- Current FAA First- or Second-Class Medical Certificate and ability to maintain medical certification and flight currency.
- Active Secret Security Clearance is required, or the ability to obtain and maintain one; physiological training in a hypobaric chamber is also required.
