What you will do

  • Serve as an H-60M maintenance test and project pilot.
  • Serve as a fixed-wing, multi-engine project pilot.
  • Conduct developmental, operational, maintenance, and project evaluation flight missions.
  • Plan missions, including weather analysis, flight routing, and airspace coordination.
  • Coordinate aviation test planning and execution with engineers and test personnel.
  • Prepare flight reports, evaluations, and technical documentation while supporting assigned operations or safety duties.

Requirements

  • FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate or higher with multi-engine, instrument, and helicopter ratings.
  • H-60M Maintenance Test Pilot qualification and U.S. Department of War fixed-wing multi-engine qualification.
  • 1,500 hours total flight time, including the specified rotary-wing and fixed-wing PIC, night, instrument, and recent-flight experience.
  • Experience operating heavy multi-engine helicopters and airplanes exceeding 12,500 pounds gross takeoff weight.
  • Current FAA First- or Second-Class Medical Certificate and ability to maintain medical certification and flight currency.
  • Active Secret Security Clearance is required, or the ability to obtain and maintain one; physiological training in a hypobaric chamber is also required.
