What you will do
- Serve as the corporate subject matter expert for facility infrastructure, building systems, HVAC, utilities, fire protection, and mechanical systems.
- Lead corporate capital governance and coordinate annual capital planning, portfolio reviews, analytics, and executive reporting.
- Partner with manufacturing site leadership on infrastructure planning, equipment selection, major facility investments, and capital project execution.
- Develop enterprise facility engineering standards, asset lifecycle strategies, infrastructure replacement plans, and utility capacity data.
- Coordinate facility engineering matters with FM Global, support risk assessments and technical audits, and recommend infrastructure risk mitigation strategies.
- Share engineering best practices across global manufacturing sites and improve capital planning consistency.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Facilities Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 10+ years of experience supporting industrial manufacturing facilities.
- Demonstrated expertise in industrial building systems, infrastructure, utilities, and facility engineering.
- Experience leading capital projects and facility improvements.
- Strong communication, collaboration, influencing, and cross-functional relationship-building skills.
- Ability to make decisions with significant impact and work effectively with manufacturing, engineering, and corporate functions.
Nice to have
- Enterprise Asset Management knowledge.
- Global manufacturing experience.
- Professional Engineer registration or equivalent engineering credentials.
- Knowledge of industrial building codes, life safety systems, and engineering standards.
- Experience with FM Global or similar industrial property risk engineering organizations.
