What you will do
- Lead, coach, and mentor PPV Buyers while coordinating workloads, priorities, resources, and performance targets.
- Ensure procurement processes, workflows, SOPs, training, and governance requirements are consistently followed.
- Develop sourcing strategies with Sales, Business Development, Supply Chain, Sourcing Operations, and supplier partners.
- Analyze supplier capabilities, market trends, inventory, product availability, and sourcing effectiveness across the semiconductor and electronics market.
- Oversee purchase orders from assignment through placement, confirmation, shipment, and delivery, resolving delays, shortages, exceptions, and order fall-downs.
- Maintain KPI reporting, support process and automation improvements, and escalate significant operational or supplier issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
- At least 5 years of progressive procurement and supply chain experience, including leadership responsibility in a global environment.
- Fluent English and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Extensive electronics sourcing experience, including integrated circuits, passives, memory products, CPUs, and other electronic components.
- Advanced proficiency with ERP systems, procurement tools, and data analytics.
- Knowledge of quality management systems, procurement SOPs, corporate governance, supplier relationships, prioritization, and continuous improvement.
