Product Designer (Healthcare)

Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada (hybrid); candidates must be based in Ontario and able to work in the hybrid environment.

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end product design for a B2B platform used by home care and senior living organizations in more than 20 countries.
• Research customer needs, user roles, and operational workflows through interviews, usability testing, feedback, and product data.
• Design user journeys, information architecture, workflows, wireframes, prototypes, and final UI for dashboards, settings, administration tools, and reports.
• Translate complex business requirements, permissions, account structures, and sensing data into clear, scalable experiences.
• Define and evolve the visual system, including colour, contrast, typography, component states, and loading, empty, partial, and error states.
• Partner with Product Management and Engineering to explain design decisions, validate feasibility, and ensure accurate implementation.

Requirements

• 3+ years of full-time product design experience in enterprise or B2B SaaS products.
• A portfolio demonstrating interaction and flow design together with strong visual UI craft.
• Proficiency with Figma for wireframes, flows, prototypes, and component states.
• Experience designing data-dense or state-heavy interfaces, including dashboards and administration tools.
• Working knowledge of WCAG 2.1 AA and experience resolving real accessibility issues.
• Experience with user research and the ability to communicate design reasoning clearly to product and engineering stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience in healthcare or another regulated, trust-sensitive domain.
• Familiarity with sensor data or time-series visualization.
