Lead Shipper/Receiver (Chemicals)

Location: Billerica, Massachusetts, United States; onsite

Pay: $25.96–$35.72 per hour during the training period

What you will do

• Prepare, pack, document, verify, and load outgoing shipments, and receive, unpack, label, and store incoming materials.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other material-handling equipment.
• Coordinate daily WPS department and shift activities while performing WPS operator duties.
• Oversee shipment and receipt preparation, documentation, notifications, dispositions, and deficiency reporting.
• Maintain inventory accuracy by conducting cycle counts and investigating shortages, overages, damaged goods, and other discrepancies.
• Support equipment inspections, safety programs, incident reporting, PPE compliance, and the Responsible Care® Management System.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of related experience; previous leadership experience is preferred.
• Ability to interpret operating instructions and communicate effectively in writing, verbally, and through listening.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate material-handling equipment.
• Strong organizational, prioritization, teamwork, and leadership skills.
• Must possess or acquire a Massachusetts Department of Public Safety Class 1D Hoisting Engineers License and hold a valid Massachusetts driver’s license.
