TL;DR
Software Quality Assurance Engineer (Salesforce): Building confidence in Salesforce applications, web front ends, backend services, and APIs through manual and automated testing with an accent on test planning, integration coverage, and defect tracking. Focus on designing Playwright automation, validating AWS Step Functions and Lambda functions, and assessing release readiness across the full stack.
Location: Atlanta, GA; hybrid schedule with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote in the Cumberland/Galleria area
Salary: $90,000–$115,000 base salary annually, plus eligibility for additional incentives.

What you will do
- Develop and execute test plans and test cases for Salesforce applications and web front ends.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing within Agile SDLC and CI/CD processes.
- Validate front-end interfaces, middle-tier services and APIs, backend AWS services, Step Functions, and Lambda functions.
- Build and maintain API and UI automation frameworks and regression suites using Playwright.
- Document and track defects, surface quality risks early, and provide evidence-based release readiness assessments.
- Collaborate with engineers, Salesforce Administrators, Product Managers, Business Analysts, and business stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 6 years of software QA experience covering manual web and backend API testing.
- At least 3 years of experience testing Salesforce Service Cloud, including web services and REST APIs.
- Hands-on experience with Postman and Playwright using JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Programming experience with JavaScript, Python, or similar languages; ability to write basic SQL queries and prepare test data.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, TestRail, BrowserStack, AWS, functional testing, system integration testing, and end-to-end testing.

- Experience using AI tools such as Claude and GitHub Copilot for test authoring, code review, and QA process verification.
