Senior Director, Portfolio Communications & Public Affairs – AP (Healthcare)

Location: Singapore, Singapore; up to 25% travel across the Asia Pacific region

What you will do

• Lead integrated portfolio communications and public affairs strategy across the Asia Pacific region.
• Translate global therapeutic area priorities into regionally relevant plans supporting launches, growth brands, congresses, and major data readouts.
• Integrate policy engagement, access, transparency, affordability, and market-shaping priorities into portfolio strategies.
• Advise Asia Pacific leadership on external positioning, stakeholder engagement, policy, regulatory, and reputational risks.
• Lead and develop a high-performing regional communications and public affairs team.
• Coordinate execution across priority and cluster markets while implementing shared tools, governance, measurement, and reporting frameworks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; an advanced degree in Communications, Public Affairs, Life Sciences, Public Policy, or a related field is preferred.
• At least 15 years of experience in communications, public affairs, or related external engagement roles.
• Experience leading regional or multi-country communications portfolios, preferably in biopharmaceuticals or healthcare.
• Strong understanding of Asia Pacific market dynamics, including access, policy, regulatory, and reputational considerations.
• Experience operating in matrixed global-to-local environments, advising senior leaders, and managing complex issues in regulated settings.
• People leadership, budget management, and resource prioritization experience required.

Nice to have

• Experience with priority and cluster market models.
• Familiarity with global center-of-excellence operating models, including HUB and COE structures.
• Experience partnering with Market Access and Government Affairs teams.
