What you will do

• Support the evaluation and underwriting of aviation risks involving aircraft operators, airports, manufacturers, and airlines.
• Review underwriting submissions, exposure information, loss histories, and related data to support risk selection, pricing, and coverage decisions.
• Work with underwriters, claims professionals, attorneys, and risk specialists to develop tailored insurance solutions.
• Build relationships with brokers and clients while supporting new business and renewal opportunities.
• Monitor industry trends and emerging aviation risks.
• Develop technical aviation insurance knowledge alongside analytical, decision-making, and relationship-management skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree to be received no later than June 2028; an unofficial transcript is required with the application.
• Availability for the complete nine-week internship from June 7 through August 6, 2027.
• Ability to work in the Los Angeles office at least four days per week.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in a professional environment.
• Analytical, problem-solving, organizational, collaboration, prioritization, and adaptability skills.

Nice to have

• Studies in risk management and insurance, finance, business administration, economics, aviation management, or a related field.
• Interest in aviation, commercial insurance, risk management, and evaluating complex risks.
