What you will do
- Act as the liaison between aircraft maintenance personnel and the test community.
- Provide test planners and executors with maintenance capability, logistics, safety, risk mitigation, equipment, aircraft configuration, and test setup information.
- Support maintenance personnel with test execution instructions, aircraft configuration changes, and test execution.
- Advise Test Engineers on post-test reports and provide input to the Air Worthiness Committee.
- Advise Production Control and Logistics on requirements for test execution.
- Provide current maintenance status and test results to Test Engineers.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Meets the minimum requirements for an Aircraft Mechanic Level II or Electronics Technician Maintenance Level II.
- At least 10 years of aviation maintenance, flight test, or related aerospace experience in a comparable operational environment.
- Experience with Production Control and Quality Control functions and with aircraft configurations, including avionics and ASE equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret aeronautical drawings and written procedures, formulate project estimates, and communicate effectively across the organization.
- Must possess or be able to obtain and maintain an active Secret Security Clearance.
