Production Operations Manager (Broadcasting)

What you will do

• Manage all aspects of the Production Operations Department, including control room and non-talent studio personnel.
• Plan staffing, training, performance evaluations, and departmental resource allocation.
• Monitor broadcasts and CTV programs for quality, policy, and FCC compliance.
• Manage studio, CTV, editing, and production resources while assigning projects and tracking deadlines.
• Train employees on VMix, OBS, switchers, cameras, monitors, microphones, lights, and other broadcast equipment.
• Coordinate with Engineering and perform CTV operation and podcast duties when operationally necessary.

Requirements

• Technical degree in Digital Electronics, Broadcasting, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
• Fluent English and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• At least five years of experience with digital electronics systems in a television broadcasting environment, including at least two years in a leadership role.
• Knowledge of OBS and VMix production systems.
• Experience with broadcast equipment, streaming systems, cameras, control boards, audio equipment, editing systems, and production environments.
• Ability to lead, coach, mentor, prioritize assignments, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks.
