(USA) Service Shop Repair Technician - Fort Pierce, FL (2nd Shift)

Location: Fort Pierce, Florida, United States; onsite service shop, 2nd shift

Hourly wage: $31.75–$35.25 per hour. Additional premiums may range from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.

What you will do

• Perform minor to intermediate inspections, repairs, and replacements on trailers, tractors, yard trucks, shop equipment, and service vehicles.
• Create and process work orders, assess repair needs, identify parts, and select repair solutions.
• Use technical and electronic equipment to diagnose engines, electronics, drivetrains, communication and onboard technology, and minor HVAC systems.
• Receive fuel deliveries, monitor safety compliance, and prepare fuel samples and required documentation.
• Identify warrantable repairs and complete maintenance entries, warranty tags, parts retention, and warranty claims.

Requirements

• Two years of experience inspecting and repairing tractors and trailers, or a technical school degree or certification in heavy-duty truck/trailer maintenance.
• Valid state-issued driver's license.
• Brake inspection qualification under Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration regulation Section 396.25.
• Vehicle inspection qualification under Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration regulation Section 396.19.
• Experience using diagnostic tools and following DOT requirements and safe shop practices.
• Strong documentation skills for work orders, maintenance systems, and warranty records.

Nice to have

• Microsoft Office experience.
• ASE certification.
• Class F driver's license certification.
