Systems Engineering Field Validation Engineer (Oil & Gas)

Location: Houston, Texas, United States; onsite five days a week. Travel up to 40% within the continental United States. Open to relocation; visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $97,530–$146,290 per year

What you will do

• Implement and improve testing, development, and validation techniques, processes, tooling, and machinery.
• Resolve design and manufacturing issues while ensuring design acceptance and manufacturing readiness.
• Provide technical support to end customers and dealers for pre-production equipment.
• Plan and improve testing procedures to increase reliability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
• Monitor test results, machine and process capabilities, and performance reliability.
• Support adoption of automation, robotics, and computer-aided manufacturing technologies.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Computer Science.
• Experience in manufacturing and/or the oil and gas field, particularly well services.
• Experience with mechanical drivetrain systems, including engines, transmissions, gearboxes, and related powertrain equipment.
• Knowledge of process management, analytical problem-solving, technical excellence, and effective communication.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities, adapt to changing priorities, and support evolving R&D programs.
• Ability to work onsite in Houston five days per week and travel within the continental United States.
