What you will do
- Build and deploy large-scale threat detection services used across cybersecurity products.
- Contribute to moderately complex features and components within the Unified Detection team.
- Write clean, maintainable, efficient, and well-tested code.
- Take ownership of smaller features, identify blockers, communicate risks, and deliver within established timelines.
- Participate in code reviews and retrospectives while incorporating feedback.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2+ years of software development experience with growing proficiency in Python, Go, or Java.
- Understanding of distributed systems, cloud environments such as AWS, and containerized workloads using Kubernetes or Docker.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, secure coding foundations, and automated testing practices.
- Ability to collaborate effectively, work with limited supervision on routine tasks, and seek guidance when needed.
Nice to have
- Experience with observability or monitoring tools such as Grafana or Kibana.
- Curiosity about cybersecurity, malware analysis, or threat detection.
