Analyst, Underwriting – Aviation (Insurance)

What you will do

• Support the evaluation and underwriting of aviation risks involving aircraft operators, airports, manufacturers, and airlines.
• Review underwriting submissions, exposure information, loss histories, and related data to support risk selection, pricing, and coverage decisions.
• Work with underwriters, claims professionals, attorneys, and risk specialists to develop tailored insurance solutions.
• Build relationships with brokers and clients while supporting new business and renewal opportunities.
• Monitor industry trends and emerging aviation risks to inform underwriting decisions.
• Develop technical knowledge of aviation insurance, analytical skills, decision-making abilities, and relationship-management skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree completed by June 2027; an unofficial transcript is required with the application.
• Availability to start the program on July 26, 2027.
• Ability to work in the office at least four days per week.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to collaborate, manage multiple priorities, and adapt in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Nice to have

• Major in Risk Management and Insurance, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Aviation Management, or a related field.
• Interest in aviation, commercial insurance, risk management, and evaluating complex risks.
