Capital Project Estimator (Petrochemical): Developing and managing conceptual, authorization, and check-authorization estimates for capital and non-capital projects with an accent on project cost competitiveness, estimate quality, and risk management. Focus on maintaining cost libraries, generating cost-reduction concepts, benchmarking estimate performance, and supporting multiple project teams across locations.
Location: Hybrid position in Wilmington, Delaware, United States; occasional travel to multiple locations required.
Salary: $110,544–$172,725 annually, plus an 11% annual bonus target.

What you will do
- Develop conceptual, authorization, and check-authorization estimates throughout the project life cycle.
- Prepare estimates for capital and non-capital projects while meeting industry quality requirements at each project gate.
- Lead early estimate plans and updates through project implementation.
- Generate cost-reduction concepts and improve work processes to increase project efficiency.
- Maintain estimating-system cost libraries and historical data.
- Support risk competency leads and compile benchmark and metric data to evaluate estimate performance and competitiveness.
Requirements
- 7+ years of estimating experience in the petrochemical, heavy industrial, or related industry.
- Experience with Aspen Capital Cost Estimator.
- Experience with Aspen In Plant Cost Estimator.
- Ability to manage multiple project tasks and rapidly adjust plans when needed.
- Ability to interact effectively with and influence stakeholders at all levels inside and outside .
- Immigration sponsorship, including H-1B, F-1 OPT, TN, or other non-immigrant status sponsorship, is not currently available.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree.
- 10+ years of estimating experience.
- Technical or engineering background.
- At least 5 years of familiarity with industry cost bases and tools such as Richardson, Aspen, and RS Means.
- Knowledge of @Risk Monte Carlo software.
