What you will do
- Manage daily demolition site activities, workforce requirements, equipment, schedules, and project documentation.
- Lead field personnel and communicate project needs with General Superintendents, crews, vendors, and management.
- Schedule and monitor subcontractors to ensure work meets contractual, quality, budget, and schedule requirements.
- Identify workplace hazards, conduct Job Hazard Awareness meetings, stretching sessions, and Tool Box topics.
- Participate in pre-construction and site meetings, inspect field work and materials, and review technical drawings and manufacturer documentation.
- Report safety issues, equipment damage, workplace injuries, performance concerns, and other matters affecting project execution.
Requirements
- Five to ten years of heavy industrial demolition experience.
- OSHA 30-hour, HAZWOPER, Excavating Safety Training, Blueprint Training, CPR, and First Aid certifications.
- Ability to read and interpret policies, reports, plans, specifications, legal documents, and technical instructions.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, iPad, and iPhone.
- Strong written and verbal communication, scheduling, interpersonal, analytical, and practical mathematical skills.
- Valid driver’s license, satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record, ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, and ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds.
