What you will do
- Support an information security program at a federal agency.
- Execute Security Assessment and Authorization activities using risk-based methodologies.
- Translate requirements from system engineers and developers into data-driven security recommendations.
- Work with System Owners, Information System Security Officers, Authorizing Officials, and Chief Information System Security Officers.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience in IT and security, including at least 3 years supporting an information security program at a federal agency.
- Experience with FISMA, FedRAMP, FIPS, and NIST Special Publications.
- Experience with the Risk Management Framework and Cybersecurity Framework.
- Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Public Trust clearance required.
Nice to have
- CISSP, CISM, CAP, or relevant GIAC credentials such as GSLC or GSEC.
- Cloud security certifications such as AZ-500 or AWS Security.
