A manufacturing organization coordinating material supply, production schedules, inventory, and customer requirements.
What you will do
- Plan and schedule materials, manage inventory, and coordinate efficient material flow throughout production.
- Issue material releases and maintain demand, production, and customer service schedules for multiple customers and products.
- Coordinate with suppliers, customers, purchasing, production, and engineering teams to support product launches and ongoing production needs.
- Set supply chain parameters to support 100% on-time delivery while managing inventory buffers and potential shortages.
- Manage service components and parts inventory, including quantities, part parameters, and obsolescence.
- Lead continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives, manage customer portal tickets, and escalate nonstandard freight or sourcing decisions for approval.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent knowledge in Supply Chain Management.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and specialized software.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to coordinate with Health, Safety, and Environmental and Manufacturing Engineering departments to meet safety and efficiency requirements.
