Medical Director – Sleep Medicine – Evicore - Remote (Sleep Medicine)

Location: United States Work at Home; 100% remote

Annual salary: USD 207,800–346,300, depending on experience and geographic location; eligible for an annual bonus plan.

What you will do

• Complete time-sensitive, evidence-based medical necessity reviews using EviCore’s case management software.
• Conduct peer-to-peer consultations with referring healthcare providers.
• Discuss the evidence-based necessity and appropriateness of requested services or treatments.
• Recommend alternative services or treatments when appropriate.
• Collaborate with more than 500 EviCore physician colleagues to support evidence-based patient care decisions.
• Complete structured remote training with trainers, mentors, and leadership.

Requirements

• M.D. or D.O. degree with a current, active U.S. medical license.
• Board certification in Sleep Medicine through ABMS or AOA.
• Eligibility to acquire additional state licenses as required.
• At least three years of relevant clinical experience after residency or fellowship.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, technology, typing, and computer skills.
• Ability to work Monday through Friday on a set weekly schedule and use an encrypted company workstation with a wired modem or router connection; wireless connections are not permitted.
