Field Safety Advisor

Location: San Antonio, Fort Worth, Austin, Houston, or Pearland, Texas; the role requires 90% travel. Hybrid work is available with up to 40% remote work.

What you will do

• Assess field risks, enforce safety policies, and train personnel to identify and mitigate hazards.
• Develop and implement safety programs for construction, confined-space, environmental, and other field operations.
• Conduct safety audits, oversee training, and support regulatory and company-policy compliance.
• Advise field teams on emergency-response protocols and preparedness.
• Develop risk-mitigation strategies related to insurance, physical security, personnel, and field assets.
• Partner with stakeholders to strengthen safety standards, accountability, leadership development, and safety culture.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in field safety and health.
• Experience with Confined Space Entry, Excavation/Trenching operations, Fall Protection, and Rope Access/High Angle Rescue.
• Availability to work from or be based near one of the listed Texas offices and travel 90% of the time.
