Senior Engineering Manager, Business Systems

What you will do

• Provide strategic direction and define the technical vision for reliable, scalable, and highly available global infrastructure.
• Lead collaboration with orders, supply chain, finance, and go-to-market teams to deliver critical business initiatives.
• Mentor engineers on architecture decisions, technical specifications, and latency trade-offs.
• Partner with other organizations to shape the product roadmap alongside evolving business processes.
• Build and lead the engineering team through recruitment, mentoring, retention, and performance management.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience managing, leading, and inspiring engineering teams, including hiring, retention, and performance management.
• 10+ years of software engineering experience with technical leadership in scalable, reliable, and efficient systems.
• Experience with Python or Go and familiarity with backend development, server-side frameworks, and database systems.
• Experience with agile software development, project management, and delivery of complex projects within defined constraints.
• Ability to identify gaps between processes and tools and collaborate effectively across functions.
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kubernetes, AWS, Terraform, Netsuite, or another ERP.
• Experience building long-term roadmaps and presenting to executives.
• Hands-on leadership of platform teams in a high-growth environment.
• Experience implementing scalable and reliable solutions with modern cloud and DevOps practices.
