R&D Staff Hardware Engineer (High-Speed Electronics)

Location: San Jose, California, United States; onsite

Annual base salary: USD 121,900–195,000, plus discretionary annual bonus and equity awards.

What you will do

• Design, develop, validate, and deliver ultra-high-performance electronic products.
• Own end-to-end electrical hardware development, including BOM creation, vendor coordination, circuit and board design, development, and validation.
• Support products throughout the full lifecycle, including customer trials, field issues, and sustaining activities.
• Collaborate with Hardware, ASIC, Signal, Mechanical, Thermal, Diagnostic, Packaging, and Manufacturing engineers.
• Interact with partner engineering teams in joint development programs.
• Work with Manufacturing, Compliance, and Safety support groups.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 8+ years of related experience.
• Experience with large, high-powered SoCs using advanced 2D, 2.5D, and 3D memory packaging technologies.
• Experience with precision scopes, analyzers, and development and validation tools.
• Experience addressing power and thermal issues on PCBs with 1kW+ footprints.
• Experience with high-speed, high-density signaling and 112G+ SerDes rates, plus cross-functional development.
