Service Shop Repair Technician (Heavy Duty Truck/Trailer Maintenance)

Location: Onsite at 7500 E Crossroads Blvd, Loveland, Colorado 80538, United States; 2nd shift

Hourly wage: $33.30–$36.80 per hour. Additional premiums of $0.35–$3.00 per hour may apply.

What you will do

• Inspect, diagnose, repair, and replace components on tractors, trailers, yard trucks, shop equipment, and service vehicles.
• Create and process work orders, perform minor diagnostics, and identify required parts and repair solutions.
• Repair drivetrain components, communication equipment, onboard technology, and minor HVAC systems in line with company and Department of Transportation requirements.
• Receive fuel deliveries, monitor tank levels, verify safety compliance, collect fuel samples, and complete related documentation.
• Perform warrantable repairs, document condition, cause, and correction, retain parts, and process warranty claims.

Requirements

• Two years of tractor and trailer inspection and repair experience, or a technical school degree or certification in heavy-duty truck/trailer maintenance.
• Valid state-issued driver's license.
• Brake inspection qualification under Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration regulation Section 396.25.
• Vehicle inspection qualification under Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration regulation Section 396.19.
• Ability to communicate with customers, suppliers, associates, managers, and business partners verbally and in writing.

Nice to have

• Microsoft Office experience.
• ASE certification.
• Class F driver's license certification.
