TL;DR
Margin Specialist (Fintech): Managing account-level margin risk and operations for brokerage products with an accent on margin calls, regulatory compliance, customer escalations, and operational accuracy. Focus on monitoring intraday alerts, testing margin products and processes, improving workflows with AI-driven automation, and resolving critical system issues during on-call coverage.
Location: Hybrid role based in Denver, CO; Chicago, IL; Lake Mary, FL; or New York, NY, with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week.
Base pay range: $1–$1 USD, depending on the compensation zone and work location. The role is also eligible for bonus opportunities, equity, and benefits.

What you will do
- Review daily margin calls, execute margin sellouts, and conduct recovery and reconciliation across multiple entities.
- Monitor risk-based alerts, resolve account issues and margin-related escalations, and manage margin interest rates.
- Communicate with customers by phone or email to resolve escalated issues.
- Test new products and existing processes to support stability, compliance, and operational accuracy.
- Use AI-driven initiatives and digital tools to automate routine work and improve workflows.
- Support critical incident response through a weekly on-call rotation and collaborate with clearing, engineering, product, compliance, and international teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 licenses.
- Understanding of equities, option strategies, Regulation T, and FINRA Rule 4210.
- Experience with retail client margin calls and strong knowledge of Robinhood products.
- Strong analytical, critical-thinking, data-analysis, and technology skills.
- Ability to work in the specified office locations with regular in-person attendance and participate in on-call coverage.
Nice to have
- FINRA Series 2 license.
