What you will do

• Prepare samples for standard, non-routine, and complex chemical and physical testing of inkjet inks and dispersions.
• Operate laboratory testing equipment, apparatus, and pilot-line process equipment; assemble and install equipment when required.
• Identify and troubleshoot equipment or process issues and help resolve technical dispersion problems.
• Conduct fast-turnaround experiments, support ink solution prototyping, and develop test methods for new or existing equipment.
• Record laboratory notes, enter and organize data, interpret results, and identify issues and trends.
• Calibrate and maintain testing equipment, train less experienced operators, and follow safety and Responsible Care procedures.

Requirements

• Broad knowledge of laboratory testing equipment and protocols, with strong attention to quality, precision, and procedure compliance.
• Mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity, and ability to perform basic service on laboratory equipment.
• Ability to identify out-of-range results, recognize unusual patterns, organize data, and meet simultaneous deadlines.
• Ability to lift items and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. / 22.7 kg.
• High school diploma with at least 4 years of related experience, or an associate degree in a technical discipline with at least 2 years of related experience, or a bachelor's degree in a technical discipline with some related experience.
• Clear communication, collaboration, and ability to provide training to others. Experience with inkjet ink and dispersion testing is strongly preferred.
