Procurement Manager (Power)

Location: Brownsville, WI corporate office; Houston, TX; Milwaukee, WI; or Neenah, WI

What you will do

• Lead the strategic direction, development, and daily oversight of the Procurement team.
• Hire, train, develop, evaluate, and provide feedback to procurement employees.
• Identify and implement procurement best practices to control and reduce costs.
• Ensure business objectives, shipment schedules, and consistent service levels are achieved.
• Coordinate procurement needs with divisional and departmental leaders.
• Establish and negotiate supplier contracts, improve efficiency, and manage procurement risk.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, 7+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Management experience and strong organizational, leadership, communication, and customer-service skills.
• Experience with projects in the power industry, including transmission, distribution, substations, communication networks, or renewable energy.
• Computer proficiency.
• Valid driver’s license for the vehicles that may be driven and an acceptable driving record.

Nice to have

• Experience using eProcurement or eSourcing tools.
