Analyst-II GBS ATR - EU General Accounting

Location: Ahmedabad - Venus Stratum GCC, India. European shift: 12:30 PM–9:30 PM IST, with flexibility required during peak financial periods and month-end close.

What you will do

• Prepare, post, validate, and document complex journal entries in SAP.
• Manage prepaid accounting, monthly amortization, reconciliations, provisions, and accruals.
• Execute month-end close activities, including GL reconciliations, flux analysis, trial balance reviews, and reporting decks.
• Process payroll-related journal entries and reconcile payroll clearing accounts for European entities.
• Perform revenue and expense cut-off procedures and follow up on unbilled and unpaid items.
• Support audits, European Finance Controllers, local stakeholders, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
• 5–8 years of hands-on experience in General Ledger, ATR, or RTR functions.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP accounting principles.
• Experience with SAP FI/CO, Blackline, reconciliations, and advanced Excel functions such as Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and formulas.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and process-discipline skills, with the ability to work independently under tight deadlines.

Nice to have

• CA Inter, ACCA, or CIMA certification.
• Experience with European accounting processes and month-end close management.
