Service Manager (Automotive)

Salary: $19.57–$29.36 per hour

What you will do

• Manage customer relationships and serve as the primary contact for inquiries, feedback, concerns, issue resolution, and follow-up.
• Assign and schedule work for automotive service staff based on skill levels.
• Lead, coach, train, hire, and retain an effective team of vehicle technicians.
• Oversee customer service needs, vehicle inspections, repair communication, and service sales.
• Manage paperwork, transactions, inventory, equipment maintenance, and compliance with company standards.
• Support customer satisfaction, retention, store efficiency, and revenue generation.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Four years of automotive service technical experience.
• One year of service manager or service writer experience.
• Problem-solving, scheduling, inventory management, equipment maintenance, and customer communication skills.
• Ability to lead, coach, recruit, and select technicians.
• Valid automotive driver's license required at all times to test-drive customer vehicles.
