Product Manager, Developer Ecosystem (AI)

Location: Remote - United States

Base salary: $217,000–$303,900 USD annually, plus potential equity and commission depending on the position offered.

What you will do

• Define the product strategy and roadmap for Reddit's Developer Ecosystem and its transition from code-first developers to AI-assisted creators.
• Own developers.reddit.com, including onboarding, documentation, app management, analytics, review status, education, templates, and AI-assisted creation entry points.
• Lead prompt-to-app, no-code, low-code, reusable template, and generated scaffold experiences for building Reddit-native apps and games.
• Develop the App Marketplace strategy and improve app discovery, distribution, quality, and ecosystem incentives.
• Improve app review and ecosystem operations through automation, policy checks, quality signals, and LLM-powered workflows.
• Partner with Engineering and cross-functional teams on APIs, SDKs, webhooks, webviews, observability, platform reliability, adoption programs, and ecosystem measurement.

Requirements

• Experience leading ambiguous platform, developer ecosystem, creator ecosystem, marketplace, gaming, AI tooling, or developer experience products.
• Strong product judgment for creation platforms serving advanced developers, new creators, communities, and business stakeholders.
• Comfort with code, APIs, developer tools, technical platform tradeoffs, engineering collaboration, reliability, observability, and build-versus-buy decisions.
• Experience with developer or creator onboarding, documentation, portals, SDKs, APIs, marketplaces, app review, distribution, AI creation tools, or app-building workflows.
• Strong analytical judgment and experience defining metrics for ecosystem health, builder productivity, app quality, retention, distribution, and business impact.
• Excellent written communication and the ability to create clear decision frameworks in ambiguous environments.
