Base salary: $87,633–$109,543 per year. Compensation range: $87,633–$128,688.

What you will do
- Provide engineering support for plant operations and maintenance, including equipment diagnosis, startup and shutdown support, and corrective actions.
- Perform structured troubleshooting and root cause analysis for equipment failures and performance issues.
- Monitor turbine and auxiliary system data to identify opportunities to improve availability, heat rate, and efficiency.
- Execute reliability and condition-monitoring programs, including vibration analysis, thermography, oil analysis, and controls diagnostics.
- Maintain configuration control and technical documentation, including drawings, procedures, engineering records, and Management of Change documentation.
- Coordinate capital projects, plant modifications, and maintenance activities with vendors, contractors, operations, and internal teams while supporting regulatory compliance and audit readiness.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited program and at least two years of related engineering experience, or a military equivalent.
- A master’s degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited program may qualify candidates for entry at this level.
- Alternative degree pathways include a non-ABET bachelor’s degree plus an eligible master’s degree or PhD, or a bachelor’s degree in engineering technology.
- Technical experience in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, equipment reliability, and plant performance improvement.
- Experience with control systems, instrumentation, performance monitoring, technical documentation, and reporting.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license preferred.
