LNG Physical Trader

hirify.global’s Supply and Trading organization manages commodity markets, transportation logistics, and commercial opportunities across the energy value chain.

What you will do

• Trade physical LNG cargoes sourced or delivered across the Pacific Basin, Middle East, JKTC, and Southeast Asia.
• Drive global LNG portfolio optimization and arbitrage in collaboration with the global physical trading team.
• Apply LNG market, pricing, freight, supply chain, and risk management expertise to execute trading and hedging strategies.
• Develop supply–demand outlooks and translate them into physical and financial trading strategies.
• Manage price exposures and partner with financial traders as the physical LNG market subject-matter expert.
• Collaborate with Origination to identify, structure, evaluate, and negotiate medium- and long-term commercial opportunities.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of trading experience in the LNG market, specifically in the Pacific Basin.
• Experience negotiating LNG contracts.
• Academic degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain Management, Marketing, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to use digital tools, including Excel, VBA, and PowerPoint, to develop solutions and quantify trading risks.
• Ability to communicate and represent trading strategies clearly and concisely internally and externally.
