What you will do
- Maintain and troubleshoot the DAC Aloha network, DNCS, Guide, CMTS, IP platform, and video platform.
- Monitor the network from the hub to the backbone, track VOD run statistics, and re-groom existing channels.
- Use network tools to monitor and isolate outages across video lines and support advanced-service escalations.
- Organize and perform scheduled maintenance activities, follow break/fix procedures, and drive post-mortem action items.
- Identify and communicate customer impact during nationally managed network events.
- Support engineering projects, train junior technicians, and provide remote assistance for hardware replacements.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience with Linux and shell scripting.
- Experience troubleshooting network and video-platform issues.
- Ability to analyze technical references, identify standard solutions, and escalate complex issues to senior engineers.
- Availability for nights, weekends, variable schedules, and overtime as needed.
- Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance.
