Annual base salary: $196,200–$316,300, plus eligibility for performance-based cash incentive awards.

What you will do
- Lead nationwide strategies for the Claim Large Loss Property organization, with accountability for performance, budget, global line-of-business coverage resolution, expenses, talent development, and resource optimization.
- Manage Major Case Unit property claims with authority up to $15 million and obtain additional authority for claims exceeding that amount when appropriate.
- Oversee severe and complex claims routinely valued in the tens of millions of dollars and occasionally exceeding $100 million.
- Maintain contact with agents, brokers, lawyers, and other external parties while negotiating complex claims and driving timely, cost-effective resolutions.
- Evaluate coverage, liability, and damages, providing claim-handling guidance and strategies to claim professionals.
- Partner with Claim University on training programs and provide technical and coverage expertise across the property organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- At least 12 years of claim-handling experience, including a minimum of 10 years in Large Loss, and 7 years of people management experience.
- Extensive expertise in Large Loss, PI and BI property claims, primary and excess property coverage, and property litigation.
- Adjuster's license required under applicable state statutes.
- Demonstrated leadership, strategic planning, financial acumen, communication, and negotiation skills.
- AIC and/or CPCU designation preferred.
