Senior Project Manager & Technical Leader (Dams and Levees)

Location: Raleigh, North Carolina, United States; hybrid schedule with up to 40% remote work.

What you will do

• Lead large, complex dam and levee projects from planning through construction.
• Manage scope, schedules, budgets, and quality across multi-office teams.
• Provide technical leadership for dam and levee design, rehabilitation, and risk assessment.
• Guide technical strategy, innovation, and quality assurance across projects.
• Supervise and mentor engineers, designers, and technicians.
• Build client relationships, lead business development, and represent the firm in industry forums and technical committees.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience engineering dams, levees, and hydraulic structures.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Experience leading complex projects and multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong technical writing, communication, and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated success mentoring staff and growing technical practices.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Engineering or Business Management.
• Experience with regional clients and regulatory agencies in the Southeast United States.
• Participation in professional organizations related to dam safety and water resources.
