Customer Service Representative 2nd Shift (Printed Circuit Boards)

Location: San Jose, CA, United States; onsite, 2nd shift

Salary: $45,694–$72,226 per year. An annual or quarterly bonus may apply, and alternative shifts may be eligible for a shift premium.

What you will do

• Prepare quotations from customer drawings and information, maintain pricing, and follow up to secure orders.
• Enter orders accurately and track jobs from booking through product release.
• Build and maintain customer relationships through proactive telephone, email, and fax communication.
• Resolve manufacturability, quality, delivery, and product-release issues with customers, engineering, and manufacturing departments.
• Maintain customer records, backlog data, sales reports, and performance measurements.
• Develop new customer accounts, balance workload, and achieve daily goals.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in an inside sales environment, preferably in the printed circuit board industry.
• Understanding of the technology used to manufacture high-technology circuit boards.
• Clear written and verbal English communication skills sufficient to perform the job.
• Strong customer-oriented telephone etiquette and the ability to adapt communication to different audiences.
• Ability to coordinate effectively across departments, companies, and personalities while working under pressure, prioritizing, and multitasking.
• ITAR, EAR, OFAC, and TTM export-control compliance is required; access to ITAR products and related technical data is restricted to US citizens and US permanent residents.
