Communications and Patient Engagement Officer VIE Contract (Biopharma)

Location: Diegem, Belgium. Full-time VIE assignment with a target start date of 01/12/2026. The program is available to citizens of the European Economic Area aged 18–28, and candidates cannot apply for an assignment in their own country of citizenship. Applications must be submitted in English.

What you will do

• Manage social media planning across LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram in line with communication strategy and branding.
• Support internal communication content and the preparation, organization, and follow-up of corporate events.
• Coordinate the Digital Room in Diegem, including usage, technical follow-up, and user support.
• Administer the CyberGrants platform, including applications, file tracking, and reporting.
• Identify and develop patient engagement and insight projects that generate local data for market access and reimbursement submissions.
• Develop project plans and align internal teams, patient organizations, and healthcare providers on goals, methodology, and outcomes.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Communications, Political Science, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• First experience in communications, public affairs, or a related area, including an internship or first job.
• Affinity with social media and digital communication tools.
• Organized, proactive, discreet, professional, and able to manage multiple projects.
• Team-oriented, hands-on approach and comfort working in a corporate environment.
• Fluent English, both verbal and written, is required.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with SharePoint, CyberGrants, or similar platforms.
• Basic knowledge of the pharmaceutical sector or healthcare in Belgium.
• Dutch and/or French language skills.
