TL;DR
Pipefitter (Piping Systems): Installing and maintaining piping systems through threading, brazing, soldering, and welding with an accent on preventive maintenance, pipe cutting, and blueprint-based fabrication. Focus on operating industrial cutting and threading equipment, solving mechanical problems, and performing physically demanding work safely at the worksite.
Location: Middletown, Iowa, United States; full-time onsite
Salary: $36.54 per hour

What you will do
- Measure, lay out, assemble, install, and maintain piping systems.
- Use threading, brazing, soldering, and welding methods for pipe installation.
- Perform preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment.
- Operate saws, pipe cutters, cutting torches, threading machines, and other tools.
- Read blueprints, precut pipe using basic mathematics, and complete mechanical work.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Three years of related pipefitting or plumbing experience preferred; apprenticeship experience accepted.
- Valid REAL ID-compliant driver’s license or current passport.
- Forklift and MHE license required.
- Ability to work regularly at the company office or worksite in Middletown, Iowa.
- Ability to read and write complex documents in English.
